The birria tacos here are unreal. I've been to a lot of Mexican spots across Texas and Canelos is right at the top — the consommé is perfect and the meat falls apart.
You can tell everything is made from scratch. The tortillas are warm and soft, the salsa has real heat, and the portions are generous. This is our go-to family spot now.
